While Jumper’s AI Visual Search is amazing for finding content ("red car", "smile"), it is currently impossible to filter by technical specifications or existing organization.
For professional workflows with large archives (15,000+ files), we often need to find footage based on specs, not just visuals.
My Request has 3 parts:
  1. Index Technical Metadata & Sidecar Files (The "Irony") Most professional cameras (like Sony FX30, DJI, Canon) generate XML sidecar files containing crucial data. Currently, Jumper ignores these.
Please allow Jumper to read FPS, Resolution, Camera Model, and Codec from embedded metadata or the sidecar XMLs.
Use Case: I need to find all clips shot at 50fps or 100fps for slow motion. AI cannot see frame rate.
  1. Support Existing Keywords/Tags (XMP) Many of us have years of tagged footage from other DAMs (like Kyno or Video Hub App).
Please index existing keywords (e.g., "DRONE", "INTERVIEW", "B-ROLL") so we don't lose our legacy organization.
  1. Auto-Generated "Smart Bins" (UI Fix) Since Jumper flattens the folder structure (making deep hierarchy browsing difficult), please add auto-generated Technical Smart Bins in the sidebar.
Instead of just a list of random folder names, give us automatic bins for:
Frame Rates (24, 25, 50, 60, 120 fps)
Cameras (FX30, Pocket 3)
Resolutions (4K, 1080p)
Or give us browsing capabilities.
Why this matters: Combining AI Visual Search with Hard Technical Data would make Jumper the ultimate DAM/MAM. Right now, without technical search, it is difficult to use as a primary archive tool.
